Green Pathway

Aldonga Carpet Care were awarded Level One on the Green Pathway in Sydney on 26th August, 2011. The Green Pathway Certification was initiated by the Australian Carpet Cleaning Institute to assist members with the use of greener practices supported by evidence which is independently verified.

Aldonga Carpet Care wanted to be taken seriously and not promote "Greenwash" with self-declarations that many other companies don’t deliver. According to Wikipedia, greenwash is the act of misleading consumers regarding the environmental practices of a company or the environmental benefits of a product or service.

Aldonga Carpet Care are very proud of our achievements and continue to look at all aspects of our business to see where we can improve our operations and reduce impact on the environment. We have reduced our water usage by 90%, our contribution to greenhouse gas emissions, burning fossil fuels & noise pollution, plus we no longer dispose of environmentally sensitive waste extracted by cleaning machinery onto gardens.
